The NYC Department of Design and Construction engaged The McCloud Group to provide construction management services for the renovation of this cultural facility in Queens, NY. The project was phased over two years to accommodate the facility’s need to remain operational throughout the renovation work. As Construction Manager, we were responsible for guiding the project from pre-construction through to project close-out. 

Pre-construction services included design review, value engineering, cost estimating, scheduling, logistics planning, bid packaging, and procurement services. During construction TMG inspected the work of the contractor based on a QA/QC plan developed during pre-construction. Services also included document, controlling cost and schedule; estimating and change management; tracking the scopes of work; reviewing shop drawings and material submittals; producing project status reports and coordinating the development of as-built drawings.
